Battling
In a battle, there can be a maximum of four(4) participants, including yourself. To begin with, put on any clothes and use any items that you desire to. The person with the highest speed starts, then the rest go in decreasing order of speed; if there is a tie in speed, the determining stat becomes your intelligence; if there is a tie in intelligence, then it becomes the player's power level, and so on.
The person that goes first can use an attack or technique. Once you use an attack, you then subtract the amount of KI it took to activate that attack, from your available KI. If the attack has any special effects, they are activated as soon as you use the attack unless otherwise stated. Now you deal the damage. All attacks have a certain percentage (%) of damage that is based upon either your strength or your energy. Few can calculate percentages with their brain...at least, as quickly as a calculator can, so please use one. Take the percentage of damage, which your attack does, and multiply it by the amount of strength/energy you have. Subtract the outcome of that equation from your opponent's vitality and that is their new vitality. Here is an example, If I use the Punch attack, which hits with 25% of my strength, and my strength is 5,000, then the equation would be thus: .25 x 5,000 = 1,250. Suppose my opponent's vitality is 10,000, I would then subtract the amount of damage my attack does from his vitality. The equation would be thus: 10,000 - 1,250 = 8750. Eight-thousand seven-hundred and fifty (8750) would be my opponent's new vitality. (NOTE: That is an example, NOT how it will happen EVERY time. The equations will be very similar, but the numbers will most likely not be.) If you used a technique, simply follow the directions for that technique on the technique page.
Now, in order to kill someone, your opponent must be knocked out (i.e. their vitality reaches zero). Once they are KOed, the battle temporarily comes to a halt so that everyone else can decide to kill that person or not. You must use a medium attack or stronger to kill them, and this must be done right after that person is KOed and it will cause you to skip your next turn.
You have 3 counters per battle. A punch can only counter a punch; a low energy attack can only counter a low energy attack; a low strength attack can only counter a low strength attack; a medium energy attack can only counter a medium energy attack; a medium strength attack can only counter a medium strength attack; a strong energy attack can only counter a strong energy attack; a strong strength attack can only counter a strong strength attack; an elite energy attack can only counter an elite energy attack; an elite strength attack can only counter an elite strength attack. Remember, strength attacks can never counter energy attacks, and vice versa. When you counter an attack, you must figure up how much damage your attack does and compare it to your opponents attack damage. Now, subtract the lesser damage amount from the higher damage amount, and that is how much damage will be dealt. To decide who the damage goes to, the person whose attack damage was less, receives the damage. Here is an example: My opponent attacks me and the amount of damage I receive is 10,000; however, I counter with a move of my own which does 12,000. Now, we compare damages and use this equation to determine how much damage will be dealt: 12,000 - 10,000 = 2,000 (Higher damage - lower damage = damage to be dealt). Since HE had the lesser damage to begin with, HE received the counter damage. Countering DOES NOT take up a turn, but again you only get three per battle.
All attacks and techniques (except stop techs) can be dodged or blocked unless otherwise stated in the description of the attack/technique.
You can only battle once a day, unless you have a rejuvenation tank. You may use up to three(3) healing items in a battle, but the senzu bean can only be used once. Only a senzu bean can revive you from your KO'ed state, and it must be taken as soon as you are KO'ed (you must be given time to use it before anyone is allowed to kill you). If a person does not say anything for 10 minutes after it becomes his turn, then he gets the place he would get if had been KOed at the time he left. In addition, if you leave the fight once it has started, and you have not been KO'ed then you get the place you would get if you had been KOed at the time you left. You can battle once a day, Monday through Friday (twice if you have a rejuvenation tank), and twice on Saturday and Sunday (on Saturday and Sunday, if you participate in a 4-way, you can only participate a one on one in the same day, or two three ways).
The chart below lists how many points you can earn in a battle. The percents that follow below are to only be used if your KI is over 100,000, otherwise you will gain the exact amount of points listed.
1 on 1 : Winner = 1,000 points (3% ki) - Loser = 500 points (1.5% ki)
3 way : Winner = 1,500 points (4.5% ki) - 2nd = 1,000 (3% ki) - Loser = 500 points (1.5% ki)
4 way : Winner = 2,000 points (6% ki) - 2nd = 1,500 points (4.5% ki) - 3rd = 1,000 points (3% ki) - Loser = 500 points (1.5% ki)
All points are doubled if someone transforms during the battle, but only for the characters who DO NOT transform. If you transform, then you will not receive the double points bonus.
In addition to the above points from fighting, you will also gain 3% of everyone's Ki who placed below you in a fight. Meaning if you got first place in a four way then you would gain 3% of the characters ki who got second place, 3% ki of the person who got third place, and 3% ki of the person who got fourth place all in extra points. Same goes for who got second place, they will receive 3% of the third place and fourth place persons ki as extra points. Whoever got third place would receive 3% of the fourth place person's ki as extra points. Sadly whoever got fourth place would not get any of these extra points. These extra points do not get doubled if someone transforms.
(REMEMBER: An example is just that. Don't come blabbing to us because something didn't go just like the example did.)
